In 2025, as a high school student with a burning passion for English, I got an extraordinary chance to step into the global English – speaking stage. It was an online international youth forum themed “Our Vision for the Future”, aiming to gather young minds from all corners of the world to exchange ideas and build a better future together.

The moment I logged in to the forum, I was greeted with a dazzling array of avatars and messages in English. My heart raced with a mix of excitement and nervousness. I had been studying English for years, but this was the first time I was about to communicate with native speakers and peers from different cultures in real – time.

I carefully crafted my first post. I wanted to talk about the importance of environmental protection in our daily lives, a topic I was deeply concerned about.
